Visual Psychophysics Home Research Personnel

Director:

Alex Chaparro, Ph.D. My research interests focus on the effects of age and visual impairment on driving, and the effects of age on motor control.

Graduate Researchers:

Deborah Scarlett

I am researching the speed/accuracy tradeoff in three input devices. I am comparing a mouse and two trackballs, thumb and finger balls and analyzing RPE data received from the participants for each of the devices.

Kathy Sifrit

I am looking how age-related changes in visual attention affect driving safety, and how training on a visual attention task affects visual attention scores.
